TF-IDF is referred to in a number of Google Patents as something that the search engine may use for stop words removal. It is the old method that used for document search many years ago. I think it is so blindy to use this old method for SEO purposes.
Hi Aleksandr. Thanks for leaving a comment. As you mentioned, it is something that is referred to in a number of Google Patents. When applying a strategy to optimize your onsite content for SEO, you need to reflect on the fact that there are lots of ranking factors to consider. With regard to onsite content, I would focus primarily on ensuring the quality first. However, when you get past that, it is clear that semantic keywords are becoming increasingly important. Where you place your keywords and how you structure your article does impact what rankings. With that said, I wouldn't blindly use any method with Google, as a change in the algorithm will always impact people who are trying to game the system.
